CLASS MATERIALS:

TEXTBOOK INFORMATION

Geology 4th Edition, Chernicoff  and Whitney authors; Prentice Hall Publishers

PURCHASE OPTIONS:

  1. Purchase from CCSF bookstore

  2. Purchase from online publisher or any other online book vendor (new or used). Example:

  3. Books on reserve in library.

  4. Most any Physical Geology text from the last 10 years could possible work, so if cost is a big issue this is a  good option

  5. Loaner textbooks (random authors) available for first few weeks of semester until you can purchase your own textbook (get them early); Loan is temporary only.

  6. Previous editions acceptable and available online (but be sure to reference library copy for more current information)

  7. Purchase from Ebooks at www.coursesmart.com


OTHER REQUIRED MATERIALS:

•Notebook to hold all class handouts (please bring to every class)

•Class Reader for entire semester, Can be purchased at the bookstore. The PDF file is available below, but you will need to print the entire document and bring with you to each class meeting as it contains in class exercises that will be used.

•iClicker (Do not need to purchase)
